Coast

The east coast of the United States of America is centered on the prime eastern third of the state of North Carolina. The Outer Banks are strings of barrier islands and spits, separating Currituck, Albemarle, and Pamlico sounds from the Atlantic Ocean, which forms the Intracoastal Waterway. The Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Cape Lookout National Seashore, Outer Banks, Crystal Coast, Brunswick Islands are where you can find great sandy beaches. Two shipping ports and many boat marina's provide abundant fishing and tournaments.
